OUR CHAPTER
CWSHRM is an award–winning affiliate chapter of National SHRM and one of fifteen Wisconsin chapters. Over 180 members represent a broad spectrum of Central Wisconsin's business community. CWSHRM provides members various services and benefits to enhance professional development.
OUR MEETINGS
All meetings are held at the Howard Johnson Inn and Conference Center, 2101 North Mountain Rd, Wausau on the second Thursday of most months. Our meetings provide opportunities to share information and network with fellow Human Resource Professionals plus speakers who share their expertise on various workplace issues, practices, and legislation impacting on human resources. The cost of the breakfast and lunch meetings are included in the annual membership fee. Non members are welcome to attend for a fee of $20.00 per meeting. Advance reservations are required. Contact our Hospitality Director to register.
OUR MEMBERSHIP
The current annual membership fee (Jan–Dec) is $125.00. However, if you are also a National SHRM member, the fee is reduced to $100.00. MEMBERSHIP
CWSHRM has an exciting 2012 program year planned that includes speakers sharing their expertise on diversity, emerging HR trends, managing unacceptable behavior, leading change, legislative changes, developing potential, workplace wellness, and recruitment and retention. The monthly CWSHRM breakfast meetings and lunch meetings also provide an excellent opportunity to continue or begin networking with other Human Resource professionals.
